Birmingham: A woman was hit by a car during the busy morning rush. It happened on Bordesley Green, close to the Churchill Road junction, just before 7:30 AM on a Wednesday.

Paramedics quickly arrived at the scene, which was near a Texaco petrol station. They treated her right there. Luckily, her injuries were not thought to be serious.

She was then taken to Heartlands Hospital for more checks. Only one ambulance was sent out for this incident.

A spokesperson from the West Midlands Ambulance Service shared that they got the call about the accident just before 7:50 AM. They confirmed that a car and a pedestrian were involved.

The ambulance crew found the woman and treated her for her injuries before taking her to the hospital. We’ve reached out to the West Midlands Police for more details on what happened.
