Just a short walk from Wells Road, Florence is in a row of shops. It may not have the stunning views of Italy, but the colorful murals and open kitchen add charm.
This neighborhood restaurant serves pizza and pasta at reasonable prices. It’s a no-frills place where locals can enjoy good food without breaking the bank.
You can even bring your own wine for a small corkage fee of £2.50 per person. I called ahead to check this out, just to avoid any awkward moments.
Most pasta dishes are around £12-£13. The homemade lasagne is £12.50, and the carbonara is £12.99. Prices have stayed the same for over a year, which is rare.
The most expensive pasta dish is the vedere cibo for £13.50, and the priciest pizza is the BBQ chicken at £19.90. Still, it’s a great deal for the quality.

I tried the 12-inch Piccante pizza for £13.99. It had a thin, light crust and was topped with chorizo, smoked sausage, and red chili. It was delicious!

For sides, we had chunky chips and onion rings, both at £2.99. The tiramisu dessert for £4.50 was a highlight, too.
In total, our bill was £120 for six people, including a £7.50 corkage fee. That’s a fantastic deal, which explains why the restaurant is always busy.
