A vigil will honor 12-year-old Leo Ross, who was tragically stabbed in Birmingham, as the community comes together to remember him.
Leo was a sweet kid with many friends. Sadly, he passed away in the hospital about four hours after the attack. A 14-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is still in police custody.
The community is in shock. People have been laying flowers and leaving heartfelt messages for Leo. It’s clear he was loved by many.
Christ Church in Yardley Wood is organizing the vigil this Sunday. It will run from 2pm to 4pm, allowing families to pray and light candles in his memory.
A note on one of the floral tributes said, “Rest in peace you sweet soul. You didn’t deserve this angel.” It’s a tough time for everyone, and the support is pouring in.
