Police arrested three men in Erdington after seizing drugs, weapons, and illegal vapes during early morning raids on January 31.
At the first property, officers found cannabis plants. They arrested a man there for drug offenses. Police also recovered several weapons from this location.
Next, they moved to two other properties. They arrested two more men who were wanted for violating prison terms.
Later, police seized hundreds of illegal vapes and counterfeit cigarettes from a shop on Erdington High Street. Detective Superintendent Jim Munro said this operation is part of their effort to reduce crime in the area.
He emphasized the importance of removing drugs and weapons from the streets. They are listening to community concerns and will continue to take action.
Mohammed Tariq from Trading Standards praised the teamwork between Birmingham Trading Standards and the police. He warned rogue traders that illegal goods will be seized, and legal action will follow if they break the law.
