A burglary in Solihull saw thieves make off with valuable jewellery from a home. Police are seeking information from the public to help catch the culprits.
Solihull: Recently, a burglary hit a fancy street in Knowle. Thieves broke into a home on Lady Byron Lane and took off with some expensive jewellery. This happened on December 16, just before Christmas.
The burglars searched through several rooms and grabbed valuable necklaces, rings, earrings, and bracelets. It’s a real shame, especially in such a nice neighborhood.
West Midlands Police are on the case. They’ve shared images of the stolen items, hoping someone might recognize them. They’re also asking anyone who saw anything odd that night to step forward.
A police spokesperson said they want to hear from anyone who was in the area. If you saw anything or were offered the stolen jewellery, please let them know.
You can reach out via 101 or Live Chat, mentioning the crime number 20/1002064/24. Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously at 0800 555 111.
This incident comes just a month after another attempted burglary nearby. Back then, two men tried to break into a house but ran off empty-handed. Police are still looking for those suspects.
