A teen got arrested after someone reported seeing him with a machete on a city street. Police received the reports yesterday around 3:15 PM on Merrick Rock Road.
West Midlands Police announced today the arrest of a 17-year-old boy. He is suspected of making threats and allegedly using a bladed weapon in public. The incident occurred in Wednesfield, Wolverhampton.
A police spokesperson stated yesterday that they believe it was just one incident. They increased patrols in that area and the teen suspect remains in custody.
Police arrested the boy this morning at a city address. He remains in custody while police continue to investigate the incident.
