Sutton Coldfield: A well-known shop is closing after 25 years. Beaverbrooks, located in the Gracechurch Centre, will shut its doors on April 6.

Customers received emails about the closure. The message expressed sadness and gratitude for their support over the years. Signs in the window advertise a closing sale with 30% off everything.

The shop is closing due to two main reasons. First, their lease is expiring. Second, the shopping center is set for redevelopment.

Beaverbrooks plans to keep trading until the closure date. They aim to offer roles to as many staff as possible at other locations.

Anna Blackburn, the managing director, confirmed the store’s space will be needed for non-retail purposes. Customers can still shop at their other stores or online after the closure.

The Gracechurch Centre has not yet started redevelopment plans. A spokesperson mentioned they are in talks with Beaverbrooks to find a solution to keep them in the center.
