Birmingham: A beautiful mural has popped up to honor Leo Ross, a schoolboy who tragically lost his life. It appeared overnight on Ravenshill Road, close to his school.

Leo was just 14 when he was fatally stabbed in Hall Green on January 21. He was taken to the hospital but sadly passed away later that evening.

Following this heartbreaking event, police arrested a 14-year-old boy on suspicion of murder. They were questioning him about the incident.

The mural features the words “rest in peace Leo” and carries a vital message: “drop a knife, save a life.” Above Leo’s name, there’s a halo, adding a special touch.

This morning, many people left flowers, candles, and even a teddy bear at the site where Leo was killed. One poem read, “Leo Leo up so high, shining bright in the sky.” Another heartfelt note said, “Rest in peace you sweet soul you didn’t deserve this angel.”

If anyone has information about this tragic event, they should reach out to the police at 101, mentioning log 3324 from January 21. You can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously at 0800 555 111.
