Almost 200 Stagecoach East drivers awarded Fleet Elite status for excellent safety records and driving skills.
The goal is to keep everyone safe on the road, making drivers proud of their work. They improve safety for everyone and reduce risks. They help save lives, day after day. Fifty-four drivers reached “Grand Master” or “Master” status, driving safely and efficiently for years.
Nineteen more got Gold status for three years. Forty-one achieved Silver status. Seventy-four drivers reached Green status. That shows good safe driving overall.
Ross Barton runs operations at Stagecoach East. He said safety is their top priority. He’s very proud of his drivers, who earned recognition for great driving.
Being a “Fleet Elite” driver matters a lot. Barton congratulated all 188 drivers. It’s a big success for them all. Stagecoach East drivers often drive exceptionally well.
Paul McCarthy recently won a big award. He might have saved someone’s life. That person likely had a heart attack on Paul’s bus that day.
