Police are searching for two youths after wheelie bins were thrown from a bridge in Telford, causing damage to vehicles and injuries to occupants.
Telford: Police are looking for two youths who threw wheelie bins from a bridge. This happened over the A442 road, causing damage to cars and injuries.
The first incident occurred around 1:50 AM on January 27. A wheelie bin hit a car, damaging its windscreen. Two people in the car needed hospital treatment.
A second incident happened on January 31 at 1 AM. Another bin was dropped from the same bridge, hitting a heavy goods vehicle. Luckily, the driver was not hurt.
West Mercia Police released images of the two youths they want to talk to. One has dark hair and wore a light blue hoodie with a red jacket. The other wore a tie-dye hoodie and glasses.
Police believe these individuals may have information about the incidents. They are asking the public for help in identifying them.
Detective Inspector Paul Drury called this behavior reckless. He noted it could cause serious injuries or accidents. Thankfully, no one was seriously hurt this time.
