Police are looking for a driver now. A motorcyclist got hurt in Birmingham in a hit-and-run accident. The crash happened in Bordesley Green around 5:30 AM today, February 5.

A car sped away, and the police want info or footage from CCTV or dashcams. The motorcyclist’s injuries are not too bad, and ambulances helped him at the scene.

Bordesley Green’s road was closed for hours after the wreck. Buses had to go a different way while resident Gerry Moynihan shared images of debris that stayed there along with the bike.

Police set up a barrier at the shops on the B4128 road, and traffic had to use another route. The crash was at Churchill Road’s junction where it met with Blake Lane.

The ambulance crew came quickly and found the man who rode the bike. They treated him for his injuries, and then he went to Heartlands Hospital. The road reopened around 10:30 AM, and traffic started flowing normally again.
