Nigel Farage announces a major rally in Birmingham for Reform UK ahead of local elections, following a surprising poll indicating potential gains for the party.
Birmingham: Nigel Farage is gearing up for a huge political rally. He says it will be the biggest in modern British history. The event is set for March 28 at Arena Birmingham. It’s part of their campaign for the May 1 local and mayoral elections.
Farage believes this rally will kick off their campaign in a big way. He’ll be joined by candidates hoping to become councillors and regional mayors. He’s excited to show everyone what they’ve been planning.
This announcement comes after a poll suggesting Labour might lose seats to Reform UK. The poll indicates that if an election were held now, Labour could lose many constituencies, especially in Wales and southern England.
The research, conducted by Focaldata, surveyed nearly 18,000 voters. It found that 4,000 would support Reform UK. Interestingly, many of these voters are moderate and feel let down by Labour’s policies.
Another recent poll shows Reform UK is gaining ground. They now have 24 percent support, up four points from last month. Meanwhile, the Conservatives dropped to 22 percent, and Labour fell to 27 percent.
