Birmingham: So, it looks like we’re in for a snowy weekend! Forecasters are saying we could see nearly four inches of snow in the Midlands. It’s been a chilly January, and this weekend is no exception.

The snow is expected to start falling around midnight on Sunday. It’ll cover areas west of Birmingham, including the Black Country and parts of Staffordshire and Worcestershire.

Dudley and South Staffordshire might get the most, with about 3.7 inches predicted. By noon, the snow will spread across the entire Black Country and even reach up to Manchester.

Birmingham is likely to see the heaviest snowfall, with around 3 inches expected. But don’t worry, by 3 PM on Sunday, the snow should clear up and make way for some rain.

The Met Office has warned that the weather could get a bit wild from Saturday to Monday. They’re even talking about possible weather warnings and maybe a named storm. So, keep an eye on the forecast!
