A man faces charges for breaching a restraining order as police look into a woman’s death in Staffordshire. The investigation is ongoing.
Emergency services found Philippa in critical condition at her home in Great Haywood. They were called to her place on January 29 around 5:10 PM. Sadly, she later died in the hospital.
The police are supporting Philippa’s family during this tough time. They have also referred the case to the Independent Office for Police Conduct due to prior police contact.
Bryan Jones, 50, from Rugeley, was arrested in connection with Philippa’s death. He was charged with breaching the restraining order and appeared in court on February 1. He has been released on bail.
Another man, 24, from Stafford, was arrested on suspicion of drug-related offenses. He has also been bailed while the investigation continues. If anyone has information, they can report it online or call Crimestoppers anonymously.
