Wolverhampton: Little Dessert Shop started in 2015 by friends Mu’azzam Ali and Zaeem Chohan. They wanted a fun place for desserts, not just pubs or clubs.

Their first shop opened on Queen Street. Now, they have 50 locations across the UK, including popular spots like the Bullring and Kings Heath.

Mu’azzam, or Maz, shared that they were inspired by Häagen-Dazs. They loved ice cream and wanted to create something special.

Before this, Maz worked in various jobs, including at Waitrose and in his family’s mechanic business. They decided to shift gears and start their own venture.

Their dessert shop quickly gained popularity. People traveled from London and beyond to visit their Wolverhampton location. They even partnered with ASDA for a cookie product.

Little Dessert Shop has expanded to cities like Manchester, London, and Glasgow. The Altrincham shop went viral after Molly-Mae posted a video enjoying their treats.

The video got 7.7 million views on TikTok, boosting their online presence. They now have 167,000 followers and 2.3 million likes on the platform.

Football stars like John Terry and Jadon Sancho also love their desserts. Maz mentioned they now have over 100 employees and a bakery in Wolverhampton.

They focus on creating unique menu items, like their trademarked ‘cakey-dough,’ which combines cookie dough with cake flavors.

Maz wanted to create a family-friendly space, especially since bars and clubs were closing in Wolverhampton.

He aims to grow the brand further, planning to double their locations by 2027. They never expected such success, but it has become a sweet destination for many.
