Bushey: This is where Kyle Clifford, the triple murderer, hid out. He brutally killed his ex-girlfriend, her sister, and their mother. It’s a shocking case that has left many in disbelief.

Clifford was caught the day after the murders. The victims were Louise, 25, Hannah, 28, and their mother, Carol, 61. They were found dead at their home on July 9.

The police launched a massive manhunt for Clifford. He was eventually found at Lavender Hill cemetery in North London. Armed officers surrounded the area, and he was taken away after shooting himself with a crossbow.

Photos from the scene show officers searching the woods where he was hiding. They found his car nearby, and a heat-seeking camera helped locate him.

Clifford was rushed to the hospital for surgery. Days later, he was questioned by police. In court, it was revealed that he used a crossbow to kill both Louise and Hannah. Carol was stabbed multiple times with a knife.

When police arrived, they found Hannah still alive, with a crossbow bolt in her chest. Louise was found tied up with duct tape and shot in the chest.

Clifford, 26, pleaded guilty to the murders and false imprisonment. He also admitted to having a crossbow and a knife. The family of the victims expressed their devastation in a statement.

Louise had started a dog grooming business, while Hannah was a talented beautician. Clifford, an ex-soldier, appeared in court via video link, pleading not guilty to a separate rape charge. His trial is set for March 3.

In response to the attacks, the Home Office is considering stricter crossbow regulations. There’s currently no registration system for owning a crossbow, and they can be easily bought online.

While it’s illegal for anyone under 18 to own one, carrying a crossbow in public without a good reason can lead to serious penalties.
