Birmingham: A new mural honoring Leo Ross has been completed in Hall Green. This beautiful artwork shows 12-year-old Leo with the words “rest in paradise.”

Local artists painted this tribute on a wall in Scribbers Lane. It’s near where Leo was fatally stabbed on January 21. Sadly, he died from his injuries later that day.

This mural is the second one in the city. The first appeared last week on Ravenshill Road, close to Leo’s school.

Lee Warren, one of the artists, shared that the mural is about community and raising awareness. He noted that people are starting to recognize the knife crime issue.

Leo was a fan of the Blues and attended Christ Church C of E Secondary Academy. His family described him as an amazing, kind, and loving boy.

A 14-year-old boy has been accused of Leo’s murder. He is set to face trial on June 23, with a hearing scheduled for April 22.
