February is about to get very chilly! Widespread snow is possible across the UK, including many cities in England, as a cold blast arrives.
A lot of places might see snow. Areas include the West Midlands and Yorkshire. Even the south coast, like Hampshire and Sussex, is at risk. The east, southeast, and southwest of England face snow. Add the East Midlands to that list.
Scotland might see some snow too. Four counties in Northern Ireland may get hit. Wales could get snow, especially Cardiff. Newport, Wrexham, and St Asaph could see it, too. Armagh, in Northern Ireland, looks likely for snowfall. Lisburn and Belfast are also at risk.
Thirty-four cities in England might get snow. Birmingham, Bradford, and Brighton are on that list. Cambridge and Canterbury too! Chelmsford, Chichester and Colchester might get some. Places like Coventry, Derby, and Doncaster are also named. Durham, Ely, and Gloucester could see it.
Hereford and Hull might be affected. Leeds and Leicester are also at risk. Snow could also hit Lichfield and Lincoln. London and Newcastle might see snow. Think about Norwich and Nottingham too. Peterborough could get hit. Ripon and Sheffield could get a dusting.
Southend, Sunderland, and Wakefield also face snow. Finally, expect snow in Westminster, Wolverhampton, Worcester, and York. Many Scottish cities are at risk. Aberdeen, Dundee, and Dunfermline could see snow. Edinburgh and Glasgow might be affected too. Inverness, Perth, and Stirling also face snow.
The Met Office predicts colder, windier weather this week. Some showers could even be wintry.
