In 2023, Kacey faced the worst experience of her life. She never expected this from someone she loved.
Her partner would guilt trip her, claiming he needed her and would change. But she learned he never would.
In March 2024, Kacey contacted Staffordshire Police. She knew she had to act to end the abuse.
She praised the police for their support. They treated her with care and never blamed her.
Kacey’s abuser was arrested and sentenced to 13 years in prison after an investigation.
As part of Sexual Abuse and Sexual Violence Awareness 2025, Kacey advises others to report any abuse. She emphasizes that it’s not their fault.
