A 20-year-old man was seen on the High Street. He had some cannabis, police say. Officers then searched his house.

Detective Superintendent Jim Munro leads Operation Fearless. He wants to make Erdington safer. Munro says police will “not let up” in their efforts. They focus on crimes residents care about most.
People told police they worry about drugs near the High Street. Officers are doing operations to stop this. They work with other police teams and the council. Community groups also help them. They want Erdington to be safer.
West Midlands Police also arrested another man of twenty. This second arrest relates to this investigation. Police say the Operation Fearless team made it. They arrested the first man in Erdington.
