Halesowen police are issuing fines to drivers blocking pavements, urging them to park considerately for pedestrians, especially those with pushchairs or wheelchairs.
Over the weekend, BMW and Toyota drivers received penalties for blocking the pavement. This left little space for pedestrians to walk safely.
Police are reminding everyone to be considerate, especially to those with pushchairs or wheelchairs. Their message is clear: “Park it, don’t plonk it.”
On February 2, Halesowen Police shared a photo of a silver Toyota Auris parked on a residential street. They emphasized the need for considerate parking.
The police also issued fines in nearby Cradley and Wollescote on February 1. They posted images of three BMWs parked inconsiderately, expressing disappointment at the situation.
