A cat rescue in Cambridgeshire needs help. They are raising money for Dobby, a sick sphinx cat. Dobby was very thin when he arrived there.

Lindsay Kierman runs the rescue from her home. It’s in Gorefield, near Wisbech. She hopes to raise £3,000 to pay for Dobby’s vet care.

Lindsay already spent £2,000 on Dobby for X-rays and blood tests. She cares for 24 cats, so it’s a challenge.

They created a GoFundMe page for Dobby that started on Monday, February 3rd. People have donated £755 so far, with friends and adopters helping a lot.

Lindsay says the £3,000 is for Dobby’s MRI, if needed, awaiting blood test results to know. If not, it will cover other vet bills and food for the rescue. They rely on donations only.

Dobby’s siblings all died because the breeder didn’t track his parents. Lindsay cares for him now.

Lindsay calls Dobby a “lovely little guy” who almost didn’t make it. He was “absolutely emaciated” at first, and she said he has needed much medicine.
