The investigation into a toddler’s death at a Dudley nursery continues, with six individuals still on bail as police seek answers two years later
The police were called on December 9, 2022, when the little guy was found in critical condition. They rushed him to the hospital, but sadly, he didn’t make it.
West Midlands Police jumped into action, treating the case as suspicious. They arrested three women shortly after, suspecting them of gross negligence manslaughter.
Then, in early January 2023, three more women were taken in for questioning. Two were suspected of corporate manslaughter, while one faced gross negligence charges.
As of now, six people are still on bail, and the investigation is still in full swing. Ofsted even shut down the nursery in April 2023, which shows how serious this situation is. Everyone is hoping for some clarity soon.
