A thrill-seeker parachuted off a Birmingham skyscraper, causing a major police response. The jumper, who remains anonymous, executed the stunt from a 51-storey building.
Footage shows him falling from the building before deploying his parachute just in time. He floated between two buses and landed safely outside a store.
A police officer quickly approached him, asking, “Where have you come from?” The jumper replied, “A plane just dropped me off…out of nowhere.”
Though he wanted to stay anonymous, the jumper spoke to BirminghamLive. He runs an Instagram account called ‘@letsmakestupiddecisions’ and said the jump gave him a huge rush.
He mentioned that this jump was more thrilling due to the police response. They arrived quickly, and he appreciated their professionalism, even though they apprehended him.
Despite ten years of BASE jumping experience, he still feels excitement. He described the moment as pure and tranquil, with adrenaline surging through him.
When asked about fear, he said he’s not scared of the jump anymore. However, he remains cautious about checking his equipment and analyzing the landing area.
This jump was different because of the police presence around the building. They decided to extend their flight to avoid police engagement.
He felt pressure knowing security could be on the roof soon. Still, they focused on staying calm and completing the jump successfully.
