Bristol is gearing up for several roadwork projects this week. Here’s what you need to know to avoid delays.

Bristol: This week, several roadwork projects are kicking off. Some will be quick, while others will take longer. You might want to plan your routes carefully.

The M5 will have lane closures for maintenance. Starting tonight, the southbound lane will close between junctions 18 and 19 from 9 PM to 6 AM. Then, it’ll switch to the northbound lane for two nights.

On Wednesday, the M4 westbound will close for inspection from junctions 20 to 22. This closure will also be from 8 PM to 6 AM.

Stockwood Hill will close on Saturday for a day. Bristol Water is installing a new connection, causing a long diversion of about seven and a half miles.

Bridge Valley Road will close on Sunday for maintenance. It’s a key route, so expect diversions from 8 AM to 4 PM.

Lastly, Stapleton Road will close on Sunday for repairs. The closure will be from 7 AM to 5 PM, affecting traffic from Eastville roundabout.
