A Birmingham man was caught on his own CCTV selling a gun, leading to his arrest and a lengthy prison sentence
But here’s the kicker. Just a minute later, he snapped a photo of what was in that bag. It was a loaded pistol, ready to go. West Midlands Police got wind of this and moved in fast.
Less than an hour later, they stormed his place. As they broke in, Masih was seen tossing the gun out the window. Talk about a panic move! They found the gun the next day, still in that same bag.
The guy who gave him the gun, Jeremiah Williams, got arrested a few days later. Both men admitted to supplying firearms. Masih ended up with a five-year sentence, while Williams got six years.
Detective Bryn Robins said it was ironic that a CCTV meant to catch criminals ended up catching Masih instead. He noted how dangerous the gun was, capable of firing continuously.
The court took this seriously, and the sentences reflect that. It’s a relief to see these guys off the streets, and that dangerous weapon is gone for good.
