Birmingham: A police incident happened in Aston, causing a road blockage. This led to travel chaos on Tuesday morning.
The West Midlands Roads reported a large 100-meter exclusion zone in the area. This zone included Aston Railway Station and was centered under a railway bridge on Thimble Mill Lane.
The cordon extended along Holborn Hill, from Lichfield Road to Thimble Mill Lane, and down to the canal. It has since been lifted, but it caused significant disruption while in place.

The reason for the cordon is still unclear. While the canal pathway and trains are running normally, the cause of the police presence remains undisclosed.
