UK: A snow blitz is on the way. Temperatures could drop to -6C soon. The country is getting ready for some chilly weather.

According to the Met Desk, northern England will feel the coldest. Cities like Carlisle, Durham, and Lancaster might see lows of -5C.

Scotland isn’t safe either. Edinburgh and Dumfries could hit -3C. Cardiff and Conwy in Wales are also expected to be around -3C.

In Northern Ireland, Derry and Belfast may experience lows of -2C around February 18. The Midlands, including Birmingham, will also see similar temperatures.

WX Charts predicts snowfall on February 13 and 14. The Met Office has shared its forecast for the upcoming weeks.

They say high pressure will dominate at first, but a more unsettled weather pattern may develop later. Expect below-average temperatures initially, with some frosty nights.

However, things might warm up a bit as we move into March. Precipitation could be below average, but wintry showers are still possible.
